Dear John,

Thank you so much for your personal reply to my order (Ed. Anja ordered 2 CDs - see Bush Telegraph>Items for Sale). I am really looking forward to receiving it, when I go to the UK to see my parents in December. I actually live with my husband in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I met him while dancing for "Royal Caribbean Cruise line" a number of years ago. He (Hernán Zini) is now a Captain and I spend a lot of my time travelling with him. He is currently the Captain on " Brilliance of the Seas", which sometimes docks in Limassol, Cyprus. Is that where you are living now? I will be passing through there again on the 18th and 28th of December, in case you want to come onboard for lunch!

I taught ballet for a while in England and I really loved it. I found it so rewarding. I have been seriously considering starting my own little ballet school here in Argentina.

I can't tell you how excited I was when I came across the Bush Davies website. I have been googling the school for years, trying to show my husband where I went and now I have finally managed to show him! Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication to the website, you have done an incredible job! Bush Davies was a very special place and I am so proud to have been a part of it.

I believe that my parents still have all of my childhood photographs, including the ones at Bush Davies, so I will get some together when I get there next month.

John, by any chance, do you have the contact details for Heather Fish? She was such a fantastic teacher and meant a great deal to me. I would love to be able to get in contact with her again. She used to call me "Annie."

I wish you all the best John, and thank you again for everything!

Kind Regards,

Anja

Hi All
Thank you John you wonderful person, you have enabled me to re-live my old school days at Bush Davies (from 1975-79).

In 1979 I went to dance in Spain where I met up with (Belinda Wicksteed and Yolande Norton to name a few). I continued to dance around Europe and in 1989 was invited to be part of Olympics in South Korea. After which I returned to the UK and retired from dancing and went to University as a mature student. Since then I have been a Judge's clerk, an events manager and am now currently working for the University of Cambridge.
The education at BDS prepared me for what was to become a diverse life. I would love to hear from any of the many friends I shared my school days with.
Fantastic website – you star.

Dear John
Congratulations – the website is wonderful, I haven't had time to read all the history yet but what a great resource this will be and I learnt a great deal more about Miss Bush and Mr Leopold.
I have at last had time to rescan my prospectus and also have found these photos, mostly of ‘Silver' a piece choreographed by Miss Bush, inspired by Walter de La Mere's poem, and one of Degas choreographed by Joy Camden. ( Ed. Click here to see photos)
I was one of the first students to go into St Paul's with I think Fiona Davey and Geraldine Yates, there may have been someone else, we were prefects at the time. I have memories of the luxury of the new carpet and yet no vacuum cleaner, we took turns to sweep it with a dustpan and brush!
Best wishes
Jill
